The aggregate order book for Swedish manufacturers of wooden houses during the first six months of 2006 increased by 16 % in comparison with the same period in 2005. This is the conclusion of an enquiry made among wooden house manufacturers. The value of incoming orders for exports of prefabricated wooden houses for the period January - June 2006 amounts to 227 million SEK (24.7 million EUR), which is an increase of 41 % in comparison with the same period in 2005. Most Swedish prefabricated wooden houses are exported to Norway, Denmark and Germany.
