KUCHING: A man suspected of intimidating a reporter and a photographer for covering a story on seized illegal timber has been arrested by police.  The suspect, in his 30s, was picked up in Kota Samarahan near here on Friday afternoon.  On Wednesday, the reporter and photographer of a local newspaper had gone to the Kota Samarahan police station to cover the seizure of two lorries allegedly carrying illegal sawn timber. 
As they headed back to their office, a four-wheel drive vehicle which had been tailing their car forced them to pull over. 
A man got out of the vehicle, walked over to their car and threatened to harm them for taking photographs of the lorries. 
He also threatened to burn the reporter's car before driving off. 
The reporter then lodged a police report on the incident.
