CEPF was asked by the Forest Policy Education and Research (FOPER) project, led by the European Forest Institute, to host a “Train the Trainers” workshop on the Establishment of Private Forest Owner Associations in the Balkans. The workshop took place from 10 to 13 June in Belgrade (Serbia) and was attended by 25 participants from Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia. The workshop aimed at increasing the understanding of European forest policy processes and the role forest owner association can play in the European, national and regional forest policy arena.
