This year, the scientific seminar of the EFI Annual Conference focuses on sharing knowledge on trees and forests for conservation, ecological restoration, energy and raw material sustainability. It will also seek answers to how to use forestry in managing environmental changes. The scientific seminar takes place on 19 September.
Over 130 participants have already registered to the EFI Annual Conference, which is also a decision making forum of the EFI Associate and Affiliate Members. The Conference is held in Orvieto, Italy, and the local hosts of the event are IBAF, the Institute of agro-environmental and forest biology belonging to the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and the Italian Academy of Forest Sciences.
