2011-16-09 - A rich Jordan investor is making preparations for a long-term investment in the Croatian wood-processing industry. Two months ago, their representatives visited the country, in search of potential Croatian partners. During that time, they visited one small family company near Zagreb which has been for sale for EUR 7 million. Due to Croatia's geostrategic position and the possibility of waterway transport, Jordan investors want to move their production line to Croatia, make added value and export the products globally.
In addition, a Middle Eastern demand for 40,000 doors and a Dutch offer for serial production of doors for one shopping mall in North Europe is viewed in the context of highlighted orientation to export in the wood-processing industry. All this interest in the Croatian wood-processing industry is promising, but the real question is which of these undertakings will be carries out, reports Business.hr.
