2011-16-09 - For years, Weinig, the German producer of wood-processing
technology, has been organizing different promotional campaigns in the
Southeast European countries, which leads the analysts to believe that
the wood-processing sector in this market has developmental potential. Almost one third of beech lumber of the old continent is produced in Southeast Europe. Recent years have witnessed an increase in the production of windows, doors, and parquet, in particular. Consequently, Croatia has become world's fourth largest producer of massive parquet. Through their regional representative "Intercet," Weinig plans to introduce the local manufacturers to some novelties in the industry, at the MOS fair in Celje, Slovenia early this month. Specifically, they intend to present two machines: Cube's four-side planer and Raimann's multi-blade UniRip circular saw. No more than a week after the fair, September 22nd - 24th, Intercet is organizing the 3rd In-house exhibition near Ljubljana, Slovenia, with an even bigger assortment of Weinig's woodworking machines.
