Dear colleagues, friends and members of the Forest Communicators Network, Please note that the next meeting of the UNECE-FAO Forest Communicators Network (FCN) is scheduled for 19 to 21 June 2012 in Antalya, Turkey. The meeting will focus on

Best practices in forest related communications, including on promoting wood and
forestry professions
 *
Reviewing the International Year of Forests 2011 - results achieved, experiences
made, lessons learned, follow up plans
 *
New impetus/challenges/value for the work of the FCN, including through its web site
and social media, as well as through helping to establish networks in other world regions
 *
Up-date on international forest policy developments
