Hungarian Forestry Association will have its 136th Itinerary Meeting 20 to 21 May 2005, organised by Szombathely Forestry Rt. in Western Hungary. The very first meeting of this kind was held in Budapest in 1866. It has developed into the most expanded meeting of those involved in foresty, where nearly one thousand specialists are meeting this year. ‘Foresters for forests and forests for people’- say the organisers of Vas county. This slogan well represents the foresters’ faith in their work.The programs will cover the whole territory of Vas county and close with an informal meeting in Jeli Arboretum among blooming rhododendrons.
