The state managed real estate owners Statskog in Norway and Sveaskog in Sweden have jointly founded the limited company Inatur Nordic as. The new company will further improve and develop the Norwegian website inatur.no. Furthermore, the company will market and sell hunting and fishing trips, outdoor activities and nature travelling in both countries.

Why should we re-invent the wheel instead of joining the Norwegian website? says Mr Gunnar Olofsson in Sveaskog. He believes that this co-operation will result in more demand for Nordic nature adventures among both Scandinavian and international customers.
Inatur Nordic will be established in the course of the autumn. The intention is that the Swedish version of the website, Inatur.se, will be operative in early 2006.
The website inatur.no was launched in Norway in 2003. The number of visitors is close to 100 000 per month, which means that this number has doubled in the course of last year
The company Inatur as was founded in January 2002. Owners having each equal shares (25 %) are Statskog, “Norges Fjellstyresamband”(The Norwegian Association of Common Land Boards), the Norwegian Association of Hunters and Anglers and the Norwegian Forest Owners’ Federation.
