The Norwegian company Moelven Limtre AS has supplied the glued wood construction elements for the bridge. The assembly took about four months. The Moelven company has long and solid experience of constructing bridges of that size.
Architecturally the bridge appears to be a great success. I hope that it will constitute an example for building many more similar wooden bridges. It is evident that they represent Norwegian culture and building traditions in a far better way than bridges made of concrete or steel, says Mr Age Holmestad, Director of Moelven Limtre.
