Hello,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a unique webcasted event that will
focus on the future of Canada's forests. The Public Policy Forum is pleased to
partner with the Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) to launch
#FutureofForestry: Sustainable Solutions. This special webcast will serve to engage
leaders from different sectors regarding issues of accountability and transparency,
as well as highlighting how the Canadian forest products industry is a world leader
in environmental standards.

Our keynote address will be offered by Anne Giardini, the former Canadian President
of Weyerhaeuser, a forestry sector leader, and currently Chancellor of Simon Fraser
University. Ms. Giardini's biography can be found below.

*   Pierre Bernier, Research Scientist, Forest Productivity and Climate Change,
Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Forest Service, Canadian Council for Aboriginal

*   Janette Bulkan, a professor at UBC specializing in indigenous forestry,

*   André Morriseau, Director, Awards and Communications, Canadian Council for
Aboriginal Business,
*   Glenn Mason, Assistant Deputy Minister, Canadian Forest Service | Natural
Resources Canada (NRCan),
*   Aran O'Carroll, LLB, Executive Director of Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement -
Secretariat, and
*   Wynet Smith, Executive Director of Forest Watch Canada.
The Public Policy Forum is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to
improving the quality of government in Canada through enhanced dialogue among the
public, private and voluntary sectors. Established in 1987, the Forum has earned a
