20 June 2015 - In the XIX. International Forestry and Timber Sports Days participants not only work, but also in sport show - said Sándor Fazekas, Minister of Agriculture at the opening ceremony in Székesfehérvár.

The tournament held annually since 1996. This year recorded the most: 650 will compete 13 different sports, including biathlon, chess, dragon boot or the throw logs.
Sándor Fazekas highlighted that while foresters were working on sustainable forest management, while the Ministry of Agriculture has set up eleven thousand jobs, which the Hungarian forests have been thirty-five thousand people are employed.
This is due to the fact that forestry regions lagging behind in agriculture and providing the only secure employment sector, strengthening the area of population retaining power.
