Agenda item 4.
The most recent ELM (5-6 June, 2007, Warsaw, Poland) was presented the draft texts of the Warsaw Conference documents, i.e. the Ministerial Declaration, Warsaw Resolution 1: “Forests, Wood and Energy” and Warsaw Resolution 2: “Forests and Water”.
These documents had been previously discussed and elaborated during the meetings of the “Friends of the LUW” (Edinburgh, UK, 23-24 January 2007; Nicosia, Cyprus, 8-9 January, 2007; Brandys nad Labem, Czech Republic, 28 February, 20070, the GCC (30 - 31 January, 2007, Zakopane, Poland and 5-6 March, 2007, Valsain, Spain) as well as during three MCPFE Drafting Meetings held in Poland (Krakow, 1-2 February, 2007; Poznań, 29-30 March, 2007; and Warsaw, 4 June,
2007).
