The right of asset-management of the forests located in the area of national parks should be the right of the national parks instead of the forestry sector – proposed Imre Szabó, Minister of Environment and Water on the press conference on Monday, after having met Sándor Fülöp, parliamentary commissioner of the future generation. Answering the MTI’s question he said that less wood logging means lesser revenue, but the forests that should be planted in the national parks will increase the CO2-emission quote of Hungary, which can be realized as 30-40 billion forints.
