Matra Arts Days – in Hungary

The year 2015 is organized for the twelfth time in the "music of the forest" - Matra Arts Days event series.

The programs of the Matra Mountains forests of the site will take place 9 from 27 June 2015 until 5 July.

Mission:
"Every day we experience the soul and the destruction of nature. The social concern, more and more people are trying to stop natural processes. Artists struggle against the spiritual bleakness, foresters, conservationists forests, nature preserve. The "Music in the Forest" series of events created the collaboration of artists, among foresters. The goal is to create an active leisure-time alternative to the region's residents, tourists, which binds to both the music and the forest.
Our programs are:
- Classical and folk music concerts in the shade of the canopy
- Professional guide forest walks
- Lectures
- Art exhibitions
- Forest sporting events (performance improvement, orienteering, biking)
- Rural tourism Local cuisine, excellent wines Matra
- Programs for children
- Presentation of examples of sustainable farming
- Local products, presenting local values

 Forest trips are combined classical music concerts.
The programs of more than 500 musicians, artists, foresters, conservationists, government leader taking part.
The event provides an opportunity for introduction to the region's artists and young talented artists.

Informal discussion, learning and community-building is an important element of the event after the concerts.
