Budapest, Oct. 16, 2019 - Hungary is participating in the export of its technological know-how to protect the Amazon rainforest, said the Director General of the National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation (NAIK) on the M1 current channel on Wednesday.
Csaba Gyuricza, a member of the Hungarian delegation visiting Brazil in early October, said that Brazil was also aware of Hungarian forestry technologies, the latest IT and drone technologies tested in Colombia and Ecuador.
He emphasized that, contrary to the accusations, the Brazilian government is doing a lot to protect the environment and wants to use Hungarian expertise in the protection of the Amazonian rainforest, and the two countries have already cooperated to achieve this.
He said that the economy is also decisive in the field of climate, the agricultural area of ??Brazil is thirty times bigger than the territory of Hungary, so it is important that we take advantage of the opportunities for cooperation in animal breeding and crop production. Hungarian knowledge is an excellent export item, with Brazil as its main target, added Csaba Gyuricza.
