Dear colleagues and friends,

the next meeting of the Forest Communicators Network (FCN) will be held from 23 to 25 April 2014 in Berlin on kind invitation by our German colleagues, the German Forest Association with support by the Federal Ministry of Germany. Please mark this date in your calendar, as this will be an excellent opportunity to share expertise and information on new and innovative ways for forest communication. Further details on agenda and logistics will follow in due time.

Attached you find the new FCN Mandate for 2014 and beyond as approved most recently by the ECE Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry and the FAO European Forestry Commission in Rovaniemi, Finland. This will be the basis of FCN work for the next coming years.
