12 August 2015 - The first troops had arrived in Orfű, 22th European Forest Orienteering Championships (EFOL) central location.

   15 countries 420 sportsmen was waiting the organizers - the Mecsek Forestry Co. , the Tájfutásért-Pécs Foundation and the National Forestry Association - the sport event Saturday. The sprint, the normal distance and relay race numbers varied terrain takes place: in the sprint race on August 12 in the center of Pecs is held in, the normal distance Orfű and Abaliget August 13, the relay race will be 15 at Pécs-Árpádtető, near the Mecsextrem Park.

  The European Forest Orienteering Championships (EFOL) was organized in 1994 for the first time in Latvia in Strenči. The above that mainly forest workers, forestry professionals, forest owners, forest suppliers and provides an opportunity for family members.   The tournament will follow the Rules of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) official rule system, but uses its own share of the age groups for both men and women with respect. This year's marches are the youngest a 6-year-old Polish girl, while the oldest woman of 75, the oldest 81-year-old man.
At the event, professional and cultural programs will be held in which opportunities for international exchange experience and establish new contacts.

  On 12 August, at five o'clock in the afternoon the official opening ceremony was held in Pécs Széchenyi square a spectacular parade of the participating nations. The closing ceremony on Saturday from 11:30 Mecsextrém Park in Pécs is presented to the Hungarian-lumberjack sports team, sawing and splitting logs show with virtuoso elements, the Stihl Timber Show was at several locations.
