On the occasion of 20th of June - Day of Croatian Forestry, Croatian Forestry Society - Branch Office Bjelovar is organising a jury exhibition
lO* Bjelovar photography sálon
«Forest in Forester's Eye» with international collaboration
The exhibition will be held in Bjelovar between 14th June and 12*h July, 2013.
The photographs can be sent until 20th April, 2013 to the following address:
HSD Ogranak Bjelovar, Matosev trg 1, 43000 Bjelovar, CROATIA
The Exhibition jury will select the photographs for the exhibition.
The Exhibition jury will proclaim the Grand Prix of the Sálon (with the possibility of
independent exhibition within the following Sálon) for 3 individual photographs and 3 best
photography series.
The Exhibition jury will award up to three acknowledgments for individual photographs and
up to three photographs for photography series.
AH decisions of the Exhibition Jury are final and irrevocable.
Every author will receive a copy of the Exhibition Catalogue to the address in the application
forms.
Competition rules:
The motif should be within the prescribed topic: «Forest in Forester's Eye»;
AH members of the Croatian Forestry Society including both the active and retired staff, the
employees of «Croatian Forests» («Hrvatske sume»), and the foresters from all countries of
the world have the right of participation;
Every author can apply to the Competition with up to 10 individual photographs and up to 2
series with 3-5 photographs; one series is considered one single photograph.
The photographs should contain no applications; the longer sides should not be shorter than 24
cm, or longer than 30 cm. For the sake of anonymity, the backsides of the photographs should
contain only the title and the order number of the application form; if you have your own digital
record on a transferable média, please enclose it.
Your own data and the photography data fill in the enclosed application form (please demand it
from the organiser).
The organiser has the right of organising the exhibition until the end of 2013 in other places of
the Republic of Croatia;
The organiser has the obligation of returning the received materials to the authors until March
2014;
h) Every author is personally responsible for the presented motif; every author alsó permits the reproduction and publication of his/her photography in the publications of HSD and other média and publications for the purpose of promoting the Sálon, unless the authors explicitly forbid it.
