On Saturday at night Csaba Hámori pointed a loaded rifle at a farmer, Hídlap has reported. Csaba Hámori, former leader of the Communist Youth League (KISZ) who had been member of the presidium of the Hungarian Socialist Party until 1990 and who is now deputy chairman of the Left-wing Movement Platform of the Socialist Party chaired by Péter Kiss, head of the Prime Minister’s Office, came to high words with József Szabó, Sr. from Kesztölc, who tried to chase away game causing damage in the fields. József Szabó claims the game coming from the Pilis region caused frequently serious damages in the crop and they drove out by car to chase away the game . Csaba Hámori stepped in front of the family with a rifle equipped with a torchlight and shouted their movement disturbed their deerhunt. He rudely abused József Szabó telling him to get away, then he held him at gunpoint at a close range, the weapon was loaded and cocked. József Szabó said they had no guns, they only wanted to chase away the game from their land. Mr Szabó reported the case to the police which recorded the statement of facts. According to the Hungarian Chamber of Hunters after sunset it is forbidden to hunt deer while the police station in Dorog said that probably the Esztergom Municipal Court would rule in the case of threat with endangerment.
